Hey y'all,
I've been taking in a lot of suggestions and have decided to make some adjustments to our reading schedule. The book we were originally supposed to read for our next meeting, La Plus Secrète Mémoire des Hommes, though super exciting and sure to be a great read, is pretty long AND many of us are still waiting on it's arrival.
So with the help of your suggestions, I'm deciding to hold off on that book until summer time, when we will have all had more time (hopefully).
That said, I'm both going to
change our next read and I'm pushing the date back a few weeks, to allow time for ordering, delivery and reading.
Our next AfroFranco Book Club read will be Kiffe Kiffe Demain by Faïza Guène! It was already in the lead in terms of votes for our next read, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to push it to the front of the queue.
I will update everything in the forum as soon as possible. Thanks for all of your support and continued dedication to this project!
