French that makes sense from day one, built for grown folks getting started. French Class for Grown Folks: Foundations is a weekly online French experience designed for adults who are new to French, returning after years away, or looking to build stronger confidence in the basics. Aligned roughly with CEFR A1–A2 and ACTFL Novice Mid–Intermediate Low, this class helps learners move from isolated words and memorized phrases toward real understanding and early conversation. From day one, the language is made clear, comprehensible, and connected to your real life. Instead of relying on grammar drills or random textbook dialogues, we focus on meaningful communication through conversation, storytelling, repetition, and interaction that help the language actually stick. Over time, you’ll grow in your ability to understand spoken French, respond with increasing confidence, ask and answer simple questions, and participate in real conversation. We meet live weekly in a warm, low-pressure environment built for grown folks with busy lives. Every class is recorded, so even if you miss a session, you can keep growing at your own pace.
